Moorings

The Port of Mahon is one of the largest natural harbours in the world, extending some 3.5 miles inland, and has been a reassuring safe haven for centuries. Our private moorings are in the heart of the Port and provide a safe and secluded place to berth your vessel. Fully equipped with water and electricity and enjoying the many amenities and facilities of the popular Hotel Agamenon, our moorings are an ideal location for both resident and visiting vessels. Our moorings fees are highly competitive and we offer a supporting guardiennage service.

Guardiennage and Cleaning

The aim of our guardiennage service is to allow you to relax and enjoy the use of your boat whilst we take care of all the mundane tasks and to provide you with complete peace of mind knowing that your vessel is being regularly checked and cared for. Our guardiennage includes the following:

-Weekly boat check
-Mooring lines check
-Bilges and pump check
-Monthly engine run
-Monitoring of shore power
-Serious weather checks

Hand-in-hand with the guardiennage service is our cleaning service to help maintain your boat in spotless condition. We use experienced marine cleaners who work with the best specialist products and like our guardiennage service, a cleaning programme can be designed to meet exact needs.

Maintenance and servicing

At Clearwater, we understand how important worry-free cruising is and to keep your boat in pristine condition regular maintenance and servicing is a must.

We therefore have a team of specialists and manufacturer authorised technicans available to provide whatever boat care solution you might need - from polishing and anti-fouling to the servicing of engines and other boat systems. We constantly strive to deliver the very best of customer service and make this more unwelcome side of boat ownership as pain-free as possible.

Winterisation and storage

An essential part of maintaining the condition of your boat is the proper winterisation and storage of your vessel for any longer periods of time when she is not in use, especially during winter months, or for owners resident away from Menorca. We have two large storage facilities, which provide secure storage and full protection from any inclement weather.

On receiving your boat into storage, we will ensure she is fully winterised including the boat's engines and other systems and she will remain in the best of care until you are ready for re-launching.
