Princess Expand the Exhilarating V-Class Range
November 2017

Following the success of the award-winning V58 and V40, Princess strengthens its dynamic V Class offering with the latest additions to the progressive range of sport yachts – the all-new V65, V60 and V50.

Enjoy a spirited dash across the ocean in a Princess V Class, a fusion of power and luxury. Taking the helm, the variable geometry of the deep-V hull assuredly translates any surge of power into taut handling.

Born from an obsession with exceptional seakeeping and voluminous space, the original V Class yachts delivered seemingly diametrically opposed characteristics, much to the delight of owners. Their sculpted form – shaped from lightweight, resin-infused composite material – optimised for greater lift and less drag, leading to lower planing speeds and greater efficiency. This ingenious design ensures it burns less fuel to achieve its maximum design speed. Such precision thinking gives rise to exhilarating speeds, defined by efficiency, agility and poise.

All of the traditional qualities of craftsmanship and refinement are displayed and reinvented in a deliberately more involving design concept. Clean flowing lines accentuate the spear-less double curvature deckhouse glazing and soft facetted geometry defines the interior joinery to create a truly captivating environment. The fluid exterior graphic of the silhouette is unmistakable, from the contemporary hull windows to the progressive new graphic language with feature coloured canopy styling blades.

The striking V Class range is instantly recognisable, utilising the same design ethos through the use of materials and timbers and retaining the same overall design integrity across the range. Familiar design accents include elegant exterior upholstery with hand stitched contrast detailing, hand laid directional veneers and soft angled geometry furniture, recessed fashion lines through the internal bulkheads and headlining with the distinctive V Class colour palette. In the driving seat, the helm area features new specific signature V Class styling and hand stitched helm seats in Nero Black leather with Brown Taupe detailing.

V65 and V60
Open boating can be enjoyed to its optimum with these exciting all-new V Class additions. Both feature spacious cockpits which inspire relaxation complimented with a sun pad and well equipped dining area leading to a fully equipped aft galley. These flexible deck saloon models can be climate controlled or opened to the elements via sliding doors and a retractable sunroof. Below deck, guests enjoy beautifully appointed cabins each bathed in natural light from elegant hull glazing, with the option of a further cabin aft for occasional guests or crew. The V65 can accommodate 8 guests in 4 cabins and the V60, 6 guests in 3 cabins. These adrenaline-fuelling sport yachts can reach speeds up to 38 knots†.

Flexibility is offered in abundance on the new V50 starting with the option of an enclosed or open main deck configuration with L-shaped seating or sunpad aft leading to the spacious and airy saloon and helm seating. Innovative flexibility continues to the well-appointed lower deck saloon which can be used as an entertaining space or provides the option to convert to a double berth. There is the added option of specifying this area with a third cabin. The full beam master stateroom is an inviting sanctuary whilst the forward cabin enjoys the option of scissor berths. She will reach speeds up to 32 knots† with twin Volvo IPS 600 engines.

Be first to see the dynamic V65 and V50 at Boot Düsseldorf in January 2018 followed by the V60 later in the spring.

Timeless design, exquisite detail and authentic craftsmanship are the qualities that define today’s model range.

Personalised SEABOBs
18 September 2017

Our latest Clearwater Bespoke commission is from a client who has purchased three SEABOB F5S’s this season.  In fact, he bought one each for his two sons, who enjoyed them so much that they suggested, “Dad, you should think about getting one of these for yourself”!

The initial request was for a protective film to prevent scratching when stored in the locker.  This led to the idea of also applying bespoke graphics, reflecting the boy’s individual personalities – and Dad’s passion!

Meet the new Princess V40
31 January 2016

The new Princess V40 received its official worldwide launch in January at the Dusseldforf Boat Show. The model is an update on the incredibly popular V39. Using the same hull, sterndrive set-up and engines, the interior and exterior have been updated to bring the 40ft sportscruiser in-line with other recent editions to the Princess range.

This new V40 quintessentially showcases the dynamic exterior, exceptional sea-keeping and voluminous space of the Princess V Class yachts. Her port light windows cascade across the length of her deep-V hull, flooding the saloon and cabins with light. When entertaining, her spacious cockpit enjoys a beautiful teak table and well-equipped wetbar in a striking oyster grey with an option to specify a convertible sunbed aft.

Below deck, her pewter grey and off-white colour palette depict the modern V Class look throughout. Her spacious saloon and well equipped galley combine for a highly sociable entertaining space, while both cabins exude contemporary style and generous proportions.

The forward cabin has an en-suite bathroom with secondary access to the saloon whilst the aft cabin can be fitted with optional sliding berths to provide easy conversion to a double when required.

With an impressive specification and equally impressive performance, the Princess V40 is already proving a hit. Princess Yachts Menorca Cruise Event
Saturday 30 July 2016

We are pleased to announce the date for our 2016 Cruise Event – Saturday 30 July.

Now in our fifth year, our Princess Menorca Cruise Days have become an annual event to look forward to and we hope that more boats than ever will be able to join us.

Our cruise days start with a relaxing cruise from the Port of Mahón to one of our beautiful local calas. This is followed by a BBQ and Paella lunch served by the Princess Menorca team along with plenty of beer and wine. Once lunch has finished we spend the remainder of the afternoon enjoying the beach and indulging in some water-sports. Come evening you can either have a gentle homeward cruise back to the Port or stay overnight on anchor or buoy mooring.

It is a real highlight of the year for our team, allowing us to spend some social time with our clients during the very busy boating season and giving owners the opportunity to get to know each other better. It is a fun and relaxed day that is full of laughter and as always everyone is welcome.
